Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead and contribute to collaborative projects, engaging diverse stakeholders to drive business outcomes. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities are essential, along with skills in gathering and organizing data to make informed decisions. Proficiency in managing warehouse equipment and automation systems, applying Lean principles, and supporting automation initiatives is required. Experience with SAP implementation, AutoCAD, logistical software, and Fleet and Warehouse Equipment Management Systems (FMS, WES) is desirable, as is a PRINCE2 or similar qualification.

Responsibilities

The Fleet & Automation Engineer will support the integration of automation and manage the performance of solutions and MHE fleet within operations. Responsibilities include improving processes, assisting with the design, implementation, testing, and validation of logistics solutions like AMRs, and coordinating stakeholders for seamless integration. The role involves identifying and evaluating opportunities in fleet, automation, and logistics processes through data analysis and continuous improvement, supporting vendor management, and developing tools to track assets and monitor solution performance and costs. Maintaining and improving internal standards, knowledge, and tools to ensure successful delivery in current and new operations is also a key responsibility.
