Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in fixed asset accounting, general accounting, or a related field. Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle and D365 is required, along with intermediate or expert MS Excel skills. A strong understanding of SOX requirements, process orientation, attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving abilities are essential. The ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently and collaboratively, and possess effective communication and interpersonal skills is also necessary.
The Fixed Asset Analyst is responsible for recording the cost of newly acquired assets, tracking existing fixed assets, and accounting for asset transfers and dispositions in accordance with company policy. This includes processing daily transactions, reviewing addition support for compliance, and serving as a liaison for asset inquiries. The role involves coordinating and assisting with audits, recommending updates to accounting policies, conducting analysis, and supporting external audit requirements and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
