Requirements

Ability to read, understand and perform all Standard Operating Procedures
Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift
Ability to work around industrial machinery, in varying temperatures and conditions (dust, humidity, noise, etc.)
Good analytical skills to determine the number of carts required for orders
Ability to work in a noisy fast-paced environment
Confident in decision making, can act quickly, and has excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Sort, fold, and pack clean linen
Inspect linen to ensure it meets quality standards
Maintain established productivity and quality standards
Make recommendations to facility management for methods of improvement
Mentor and train fellow associates after mastery of tasks
Keep workstations neat and clean
Perform other duties as assigned
Handle hospital linens — feeding clean items into machines, folding, sorting, and preparing linens for delivery to hospital partners
