Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably as product or process engineer
  • Degree in electrical engineering or computer science
  • Ability to read and write technical documentation
  • Experience with Linux, Windows, PowerShell
  • Server/Network configuration skills (plus)
  • Programming skills (C#, Python, or any other programming language) (plus)
  • Experience with quality methods (Root cause analysis, 8D reporting) (plus)
  • Responsible, precise, and able to work independently
  • Fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Write SOPs, test and process flows to define how new products are to be manufactured and tested
  • Set up a test environment for manufacturing process
  • Test the completed models of computer hardware
  • Analyze the results of the test and modify the design as needed
  • Update drivers, software and firmware so that they can work with new hardware
  • Analyze technical data to determine appropriate setup criteria and programming platform
  • Create technical documentation, QOI, FQR and failure analysis reports
  • Create reports and monitor productivity and quality of first article prototypes
  • Act as a technical point of contact for assembly and programming aspects
  • Contact with customer’s engineers to resolve any issues or provide technical assistance and guidance
