Requirements

3+ years of general financial experience, preferably in an international manufacturing environment
Fluent in Dutch and English
Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

Prioritizing, coordinating, and participating in the daily transaction flow, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger
Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all accounting transactions and processes
Acting as the primary control point for resolving discrepancies in accounting transactions and transactional issues
Identifying and pursuing opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability through automation and streamlining of accounting processes
Identifying financial and operational risks and implementing risk-mitigating strategies, including but not limited to team structure, workflow optimization, cross-functional collaboration improvements, and process changes
Supporting financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and the annual planning process by providing relevant financial data, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and insightful analyses of revenues and expenses
Supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate publication of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Assisting with various aspects of domestic and international accounting activities as needed
