Requirements

  • 4-6 years of financial controlling or accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Polish GAAP regulations
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, especially SAP, and advanced MS Excel skills
  • HFM experience desirable
  • Proven business partnering experience with stakeholders across various business aspects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Cost management and working knowledge of standard costing systems is advantageous
  • Project management experience
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Polish

Responsibilities

  • Cost Center Reporting: Implement cost center reporting, project-based reporting, cost center analysis, maintenance, and stakeholder management
  • Manufacturing Finance Expertise: Oversee financial statements, costs, budgets, and reporting for the plant
  • Cost Management: Drive cost-out initiatives and ensure efficient financial management using standard costing systems
  • Inventory Mastery: Manage product costing and inventory management, providing insights for business unit reviews
  • Finance Guru: Set up and control accounting and financial processes, working with accounting data compliant with Polish GAAP regulations, and cooperate with financial advisors and auditors
  • Efficient Performer: Support month-end closing activities
  • Collaborative Partner: Collaborate with Finance, Operations teams, and Senior Leadership to maintain a robust accounting control environment
  • Process Improvement: Lead and participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives, ensuring efficiency in information provision to key stakeholders
