University degree
Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or international equivalent)
Significant experience as a financial or business analyst
Operational experience within business (advantageous)
Expert Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
Ability to learn corporate ERP system
Evidence of comfort and familiarity around top management
Excellent business acumen, with ability to partner with General Manager whilst maintaining fiduciary responsibilities
Knowledge of and ability to develop, implement and monitor internal controls over financial reporting and other business processes
Excellent technical knowledge including GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
Ability to identify and implement improvement opportunities
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage and interact with staff in an international environment

Responsibilities

Lead and direct a finance team of 4 (Financial & Cost Accountants), including financial and management accounting processes, P&L and Balance Sheet review, and variance analysis
Ensure complete financial control, including compliance with GAAP, corporate accounting policy, and audit requirements
Oversee monthly reporting for site and communicate results to stakeholders
Oversee Monthly R&O and quarterly forecasting process
Participate in formulating and delivering business strategy
Drive business improvement through accurate and timely financial information, working with cross-functional managers
Provide support to commercial decision-making and business development
Provide accurate Machine Costing information
Implement cycle counting procedures
Ensure annual planning and budgeting process is delivered on time and matched to strategic objectives
Manage working capital cycle, focusing on inventory and receivables control
Provide cash flow analysis
Support implementation of new IT systems and structures
Establish credit limits, resolve disputes, and monitor collections
Support and approve Capex strategy
Oversee monthly reporting for site, commercial, and brand packs
Enable tracking of brand sales and margins by model, discounts, etc
Provide support on monthly sales and operating (S&OP) reviews
Undertake financial responsibility for the multi-million-pound manufacturing business
Provide strong leadership to the Finance team, including high-level financial advice, incisive analysis, and input on profitability and efficiency
Support the General Manager in running the business and ongoing strategy for success
Provide key support to customers and dealers to support sales while maintaining financial control
