Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Comfort with ambiguity and change management
  • Strong ability to partner with senior leadership and others, facilitates decision-making activities, builds relationship networks at all levels, and leads change
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills including the ability to identify key trends and drivers and the proven experience translating financial data into meaningful, concise information
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills for creating actionable insights and analysis
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel modeling experience and PowerPoint. This includes creating pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, NPV/IRR, and other complex functions
  • Experience operating in a complex matrixed environment and interacting across levels and organizations
  • Good judgment, problem-solving skills, tact, and discretion in identifying and resolving issues within established guidelines
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and influence management skills
  • Is a collaborator with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary finance contact for strategy creation, project pipeline assessment, and decision-making support to the Programs and Functional Leadership
  • Leverage scenario modeling, NPV/ROI analysis, and strategic fit analysis to develop a strong portfolio of projects and provide recommendations
  • Critical thinking and analysis required to challenge cost and savings assumptions
  • Develop and maintain financial models, trends, and study subjects such as rates of return, working capital, cash flow, investments, etc
  • Drive, implement, and support continuous improvements in reporting processes to focus on value creation activities
  • Support annual strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Prepare presentations of financial results for Monthly Financial Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Program reviews
