Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration/Management or other related field required
  • Master’s Degree or MBA is a plus
  • 5+ years experience in finance, accounting, or business/analytics field
  • 3+ years experience in healthcare environment
  • 2+ years experience (implied from cutoff, likely in relevant leadership or analytics role)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the production of financial reporting packages and analytics tools, responsive to feedback and improvement initiatives
  • Build standard presentations of variance analysis to budgets and various periodic performance timeframes
  • Support department operations with visualization of Revenue & Expense activity, including analytical assessment to articulate observations and key findings
  • Develop processes and methodologies for data-display of Key Performance Indicators, trending reports, and ad hoc deliverables
  • Deliver meaningful outputs from information collected across multiple systems (EHR, ERP, etc.), building datasets using SQL, Microsoft Office, BI software, etc
  • Collaborate with department leadership to prioritize value-add materials and content supporting financially sustainable goals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments and operational units to understand and transform actionable activities into reportable results
  • Quickly build understanding of the business and effectively display/communicate results to various leadership levels
  • Communicate concerns and provide solutions
  • Manage group and department rapport, promote team environment, lead by example, and participate in workload completion
  • Interact with employees sensitively and positively, provide mentorship and coaching for challenging conversations
  • Communicate promptly with employees on performance issues or detrimental incidents
  • Assist employees in professional growth
  • Develop performance standards for measuring employee competence
  • Perform employee evaluations in a timely manner
