Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related areas
  • A number of years of progressive FP&A experience (preferably but not mandatory in Consumer electronics, IT or FMCG industry)
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Expert in Excel
  • Experience in Tableau, Oracle Essbase & planning systems such as Onestream (preferably)
  • Ideally located in Mexico City

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial leadership to the cluster Sales & marketing team through data-based analytics, trends & key insights from a finance perspective in conjunction with LAT BFM
  • Support the LAT BFM track & report key performance indicators such as Revenue, Margins, Sell Through/Sellout, Channel Inventory and operating expenses
  • Maintain Weekly Sales reporting update, tableau dashboard reporting & SFDC analysis
  • Consolidate and reconcile inputs from the clusters ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Support LAT BFM on the preparation and submission of the annual/quarterly projections in the system
  • Perform quarter end closing accruals, actuals reporting, post close reconciliations (Distributor/Retailer incentives, promotions and marketing activities) and track quarterly spending (Soft$ & Marcom)
  • Support LAT BFM in the day-to-day routine with demands from LAT business including: Prepare analysis between actual and budgets figures of Soft$ & Marcom to support business to control those investments
  • Participate in sales and marketing weekly meetings of LAT business
  • Assist the BFM in quarterly target setting process/commission review
  • OCRM offers approvals/validation
