Requirements

Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within multinational or matrixed organizations
Holds a CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification, or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven hands-on experience with SAP (especially FI/CO modules) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global business environment
Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure while ensuring full compliance with local statutory, tax regulations, and corporate accounting policies (e.g., DHR/Leica standards)
Previous experience in driving process improvement initiatives such as automation, digital transformation, or lean finance projects (preferred)

Responsibilities

Support the Finance Controller in overseeing financial operations and driving strategic financial initiatives
Manage daily accounting operations, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Treasury, Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets, Inventory, Payroll, and HR support follow-up for Leica Biosystems, ensuring full compliance with DHR/Leica accounting policies and local statutory and tax requirements
Perform financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support informed business decisions
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring alignment with internal standards and external regulatory requirements
Handle ad-hoc financial tasks and reporting, providing timely insights and support for special projects and management requests
