Position Overview

Mento is seeking experienced senior finance leaders to join their team as coaches. This role focuses on partnering with members to foster their professional growth, leadership skills, and overall well-being. Coaches will utilize Mento's methodology and tools to help members achieve their goals, improve communication, and enhance their workplace satisfaction. A key aspect of this role is participation in Mento's ICF-certified coach training program to master their coaching methodology.

Requirements

  • Director, Vice President, or other senior finance leadership experience with 20+ years of managing finance teams and coaching individuals.
  • Passionate about helping people advance in their careers and build fulfilling lives.
  • High emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and ability to create a safe space for vulnerability.
  • Growth mindset towards developing coaching skills.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Ability to dedicate a minimum of 12+ hours per month to coaching for at least 24 months.
  • Must be based in North America or Europe.
  • Ability to commit a minimum of three to five hours per week to Mento.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 coaching to Mento members through virtual sessions.
  • Utilize the Mento Platform and Tools for coaching sessions.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance coaching abilities.
  • Communicate with members via Mento email or the Mento App between sessions.
  • Contribute to the Mento coaching community by sharing tools and insights.
  • Act as an ambassador of the Mento community with kindness, respect, and empathy.
