Responsibilities

  • Provide a forward looking business partnering service for the Sales & Distribution Director and their leadership team, on which the role holder is considered a member, challenging them on how they are managing their business to drive value for money and improved returns
  • Provide oversight and challenge on product pricing for both on and off rate card decisions, reviewing rate adherence by channel to ensure that the overall mix of sales is appropriate
  • Lead the monthly Trading meeting between the CFO and Sales & Distribution Director providing the insight and robust challenge to drive a productive conversation and action orientated outcome to improve sales performance
  • Lead insight on sales efficiency, understand trends and variances by area / channel to drive improvement in the sales function
  • Monthly reporting on costs, including variance analysis and a view on risks and opps to plan to the Sales & Distribution leadership team. Challenge sales activity spend to ensure that it is delivering results
  • Lead the annual Budget process and quarterly reforecasting process for costs and income for the Sales and Distribution business unit
  • Provide any further adhoc insight and analysis required by the business area or internally from the Director of FP&A and CFO
