Responsibilities

Provide a forward looking business partnering service for the Sales & Distribution Director and their leadership team, on which the role holder is considered a member, challenging them on how they are managing their business to drive value for money and improved returns
Provide oversight and challenge on product pricing for both on and off rate card decisions, reviewing rate adherence by channel to ensure that the overall mix of sales is appropriate
Lead the monthly Trading meeting between the CFO and Sales & Distribution Director providing the insight and robust challenge to drive a productive conversation and action orientated outcome to improve sales performance
Lead insight on sales efficiency, understand trends and variances by area / channel to drive improvement in the sales function
Monthly reporting on costs, including variance analysis and a view on risks and opps to plan to the Sales & Distribution leadership team. Challenge sales activity spend to ensure that it is delivering results
Lead the annual Budget process and quarterly reforecasting process for costs and income for the Sales and Distribution business unit
Provide any further adhoc insight and analysis required by the business area or internally from the Director of FP&A and CFO
