Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Finance team (SMEs) to identify and articulate business challenges suitable for automation solutions
  • Analyze and measure process efficiency through value stream mapping, process mining, and root-cause analysis
  • Design end-to-end process maps (current and future state) and identify optimization opportunities that enable automation
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses to prioritize initiatives and support portfolio decision-making
  • Partner with the Discovery team to validate value case and ensure readiness for design and delivery
  • Translate business and functional requirements into clear, traceable, and testable functional specifications or use cases
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and developers to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with Finance process standards
  • Challenge and refine existing processes to promote simplification, reusability, and scalability
  • Build and maintain comprehensive process flow diagrams, functional specifications, and development documents
  • Lead assigned projects through design, build, test, and deployment phases, ensuring alignment with program standards
  • Create and maintain project plans, keep JIRA boards up to date, and report on project timelines, risks, and results
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups and weekly status meetings with developers and interested parties
  • Partner with Finance SMEs and technical teams to confirm feasibility and accuracy of solutions
  • Support proof-of-concept efforts for new tools or automation ideas
  • Develop and complete test scripts; coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with SMEs
  • Validate that solutions meet business expectations and quality standards prior to deployment
  • Document test results and ensure proper defect tracking and closure
  • Support post-implementation validation and lessons-learned sessions
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to the Design & Delivery Lead and business interested parties
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure knowledge sharing across teams
  • Advocate for automation by promoting awareness of its value and success within Finance and partner organizations
  • Act as the point of contact for assigned projects, ensuring visibility and effective communication across Finance
