Requirements

Candidates must have proven ability to research and design data-driven policies and communicate findings to non-technical audiences. Expertise with SQL, including experience in complex data environments, developing monitoring and dashboards, and data transformations using tools like DBT is required. Proficiency in statistical analysis packages such as pandas and Microsoft Excel, along with at least 2 years of experience in data processing and scripting in Python, including comfort with version control tools like git and test-driven development, is essential. A collaborative mindset and interest in gaining domain expertise in payments, content moderation, and risk prevention are also necessary. Bonus points include direct experience in an anti-abuse space, familiarity with machine learning and AI-driven teams, and a passion for live events.

Responsibilities

The Risk Decision Data Analyst will design, implement, and track risk prevention policies, collaborating with policy and operations experts to identify gaps and opportunities. They will drive analytical efforts to source data from various product features and leverage it to design effective, low-friction policies. The analyst will collaborate with engineering to design, test, and ship data-driven rules using the in-house decisioning platform and implement improvements to it. They will also work with data scientists to leverage and improve machine learning and AI models, and partner with other analytical teams to track business impact.
