Requirements

  • High School Diploma required. 8-10 years' experience
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships with internal customers and suppliers
  • Good hands-on knowledge and experience of directional drilling
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and motivating teams in a technical environment
  • Experienced problem solver with a methodical approach to solving complex customer issues
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments including onshore facilities and customer locations
  • Willingness to gain industry experience and undergo product line training

Responsibilities

  • Managing projects to completion and communicating updates to internal and external customers
  • Providing instruction and supervision to junior field engineers on day-to-day wellsite work and activities
  • Communicating technical guidance and advice to customers and third-party wellsite colleagues
  • Analyzing and interpreting system information and data to provide effective resolution to complex problems at well sites
  • Ensuring work is verified to enable successful customer delivery and sign-off of agreed work objectives
  • Leading installation and maintenance activities
  • Working with customers to troubleshoot issues and ensure safe and compliant installations
