Requirements

Knowledge of installing and troubleshooting basic Voice, Data, and Video services on fiber networks (FTTH/GPON)
Proficiency in data entry tasks on computers, including updating trouble tickets, processing orders, completing timesheets, provisioning systems & equipment, and updating internet service
Ability to provision and configure Wi-Fi (SSID settings, Guest Network Access, wireless firewall options)
Skills in troubleshooting and resolving wireless connectivity issues
Experience installing and troubleshooting customer on-premise equipment (e.g., residential gateways, routers, switches, security systems, station wiring)
Capability to install and troubleshoot circuits (e.g., Voice, Broadband)
Familiarity with training components such as Zhone, SmartRG, AirTies, cabling and testing, Light Level Meter operation
Ability to work onsite with customers, dispatch to sites per daily schedule, and collaborate with Service Operations Center (SOC)
Willingness to perform other duties as assigned, including departmental & cross-functional projects

Responsibilities

Install, test, and maintain services and equipment in homes and businesses
Set up fiber facilities, including Multi-Ports
Remove company-owned ONTs as needed
Handle provisioning, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of GPON/PON, routers, switches, DSL equipment, and related technologies
Install cross-connects at cross-connect and LCC cabinets for fiber circuits
Install and troubleshoot basic Voice, Data, and Video services on fiber networks
Perform data entry tasks: updating trouble tickets, processing orders, completing timesheets, provisioning systems & equipment, updating internet service
