Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with analytical instruments (e.g., as a Field Engineer, Application Specialist, Scientist, or Laboratory Technician)
  • Working knowledge of ICP, ICP-MS, IC, or HPLC techniques (advantageous, but not essential)
  • Proficient in English; additional Nordic languages are a plus
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Customer focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently with strong organizational abilities
  • Willing and able to travel regularly across the Nordic region (typically 4–5 days per week, up to 50% annually), including overnight stays and extended trips

Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional fault finding, installation, preventive maintenance (PM), repair, and qualification services in a timely and customer-oriented manner
  • Provide premier technical support
  • Actively promote service contracts and related products
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through clear communication, professionalism, and proactive problem-solving, bringing up critical issues swiftly
  • Manage company assets effectively, including spare parts, tools, software, computer, phone, vehicle, and documentation
  • Coordinate work schedule efficiently with internal scheduling teams for optimal service planning and dispatching
  • Submit timely and accurate reports, such as Field Service and Expense Reports
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify opportunities, share customer insights, and support business growth
