Requirements

  • Associate degree in related field or equivalent military education and 2 years of experience servicing electronic equipment
  • High school diploma/GED and 4 years of relevant experience
  • Graduate of the GEHC Apprentice Program
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Experience with Web applications and Microsoft suite of products
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S
  • Ability to be available after hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule
  • Ability to lift, carry push and pull up to 35 lbs
  • Ability to perform various physical activities (bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand)
  • Good hand and finger dexterity

Responsibilities

  • Perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance on medical equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting and basic service repairs on customer equipment
  • Assist more experienced field engineers with equipment installations and complex repairs
  • Proactively engage with team members to ensure appropriate solutions for customers
  • Maintain relationships with customers and ensure timely communication and resolution
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols
  • Document all work performed daily
  • Partner with customers and/or the sales team to recommend value-added services
  • Utilize the GEHC escalation process to resolve customer issues
  • Maintain customer satisfaction
