Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or BSN, be a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of residency with a compact multi-state license if available, and have at least 5 years of clinical experience in healthcare, including experience in hospital, home health, pharmaceutical, or biotech settings. Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish is preferred, along with a valid driver’s license and the ability to reside within the designated territory.
The Field Neuroscience Nurse Educator will coordinate and facilitate connections between patients and approved resources, provide direct educational training to patients on specific disease states and assigned medications, support multiple disease states and medications as needed, and foster appropriate dialogue between patients and healthcare providers. They will also participate in one-on-one communications with patients through various channels, including in-person, telephone, video platforms, email, and SMS, strictly adhering to program guidelines, and never providing medical advice. Furthermore, the Nurse Educator will be responsible for promoting behavioral change and treatment compliance among patients.
