Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or environmental science (preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of basic chemistry, concepts, principles, and theories
  • Basic communication skills to read, analyze, and interpret general business documentation, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and respond to inquiries
  • Good knowledge of business math and basic accounting processes
  • Valid driver’s license and maintenance of an MVR that meets company policy standards
  • At least 1 year of chemistry or related environmental experience

Responsibilities

  • Provides Lab Packing services at customer sites, maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and company procedures
  • Samples and characterizes hazardous and non-hazardous waste
  • Generates waste profiles into end-user facility
  • Performs price quotes for customers
  • Provides customers with detailed inventory of waste on site
  • Transports wastes from customer sites to end user or transfer facility
  • Generates required internal paperwork for accurate and timely customer service and invoicing
  • Helps to offload waste at end user facility
  • De-packs and consolidates waste
  • Provides technical support
  • Performs other related duties as assigned, within the general nature of the employee’s level of work
