Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive technical support to customers throughout the entire FPGA product lifecycle, including pre-sales consultation, design-in guidance, and post-sales troubleshooting.
  • Assist customers in FPGA device selection, architecture evaluation, and solution optimization based on their specific project requirements (e.g., industrial control, communications, AI acceleration, or embedded systems).
  • Resolve complex technical issues related to FPGA design, such as timing closure, resource optimization, high-speed interface implementation (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, LVDS), and integration with embedded processors.
  • Conduct technical training and workshops for customers, covering FPGA design flows, toolchains (Quartus), IP utilization, and best practices in hardware/software co-design.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D teams to feed back customer needs, application scenarios, and technical challenges, contributing to product improvement and solution development.
  • Develop technical collateral, including application notes, reference designs, and case studies, to support customer adoption and market expansion.

Note: This is a commissioned sales position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communications, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in FPGA design, verification, or technical support, with deep expertise in FPGA architectures (e.g., Altera Agilex product family), RTL coding (Verilog/VHDL), and design tools.
  • Proficiency in high-speed interface implementations (PCIe Gen3/4, 10G/25G Ethernet, DDR4, LVDS) and embedded systems integration (e.g. AXI bus, DMA).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for board-level issues, timing violations, signal integrity, and system-level debugging.
  • Familiarity with embedded software development (C/C++, Linux) and hardware-software co-design methodologies is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel periodically to customer sites as needed.
