Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • Working Knowledge of Operational Functions (resolve obstacles related to departmental goals, document regulatory/reporting requirements, assess situations based on departmental goals/operating issues, seek guidance on goal conflicts, contribute to departmental role)
  • Working Knowledge of Process Management (employ process flows/cycle time/process time/waste concepts, walk through process steps/decisions/measurements/dependencies/hand-offs, create process flow/workflow diagrams, document process decisions/impacts, identify/monitor process bottlenecks)
  • Working Knowledge of Initiative (identify/exploit strengths/minimize limitations, balance personal/professional priorities, explain self-motivation in workplace context, use tools for self-motivation, learn/use resources for team motivation)
  • Extensive Experience in Relationship Management (communicate expectations to clients, negotiate business relationship terms, conduct reviews of work effort/progress/issues/successes, maintain long-term client/vendor relationships, educate support teams on client priorities, empower others for collaborative relationships)
  • Extensive Experience in Problem Management Process - MFG (evaluate alternative problem resolution approaches, receive/clarify/resolve standard/atypical problems, implement processes for handling unusual problems)

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team managing procurement operations across the supply network to achieve response time, cost, quality, and lean targets for efficient facility operations
  • Ensure supplier network compliance with CLC’s Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management (QCLDM) standards
  • Collaborate with business partners and suppliers to resolve facility-specific issues and drive continuous improvement
