Facility Specialist (w/m/d) at Thermo Fisher Scientific

Candidates need a successfully completed apprenticeship in a technical profession such as industrial electrician, HKLS, or mechatronics, plus several years of professional experience in building technology. Experience with MS Office tools (Teams, Excel, etc.), AutoCAD, and building control technology is required, along with beneficial training for VEFK or willingness to participate in training (costs covered by Thermo Fisher Scientific).

The role is based at the site in Germering near Munich and requires on-site work in an office environment with standard Monday-Friday schedule, including on-call duties outside business hours.

Daily responsibilities include maintaining building systems like heating, cooling, compressed air, sanitation, fire alarms, and ventilation; assessing maintenance needs; organizing and controlling maintenance work with external firms; performing small repairs; and monitoring systems via IT tools with reporting.

The schedule is standard Monday-Friday in an office environment, with on-call duties for the in-house burglary, building technology, and fire alarm systems, serving as contact for security services even outside operating hours.

Strong candidates have a technical apprenticeship, multi-year experience in building technology, proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and building control systems, plus VEFK training or willingness to complete it (with costs covered). Experience organizing maintenance with external firms and handling on-call duties is key.
