Requirements

  • Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques (Service Excellence); ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations
  • Knowledge of safety measures for physical facilities (Facilities Management); ability to maintain, care for, and develop commercial and physical facilities
  • Ability to maintain and direct 3rd party providers to a high level of excellence in areas such as reception/visitor administration, security personnel and control systems, campus/building maintenance, janitorial/grounds services, office & mail services, audio-visual/IT support, fitness center, employee meetings coordination, cafeteria services, parking/bikes/EV charging, and utilities management
  • Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques (Process Management); ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance business processes, including contracts, purchase orders, invoices, 3rd party providers, warranty management, and utilities
  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for problem solving; ability to recognize, anticipate, and resolve organizational, operational, or process problems
  • Knowledge of emergency management

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all aspects of operations, services, and maintenance in support of building infrastructure requirements and employee experience within the Geneva site
  • Overseeing building services and the installation and maintenance of building-related systems and processes
  • Ensuring global facilities alignment with policies, procedures, webpages, information, and employee communications
  • Communicating with suppliers' technical support to address equipment or infrastructure disruptions and proactive preventative maintenance
  • Performing routine-to-complex work for office and campus improvements
  • Managing planning, execution, and control of small to medium scope facilities projects
  • Providing products and services to meet clients’/employee needs
  • Developing on-going plans to meet and exceed customer expectations with timely and quality focus
  • Enhancing overall employee and customer experience
  • Administering policies related to the facility, including changes in seating plan/allocation/occupancy, booking app application and metrics, and physical site and office security processes
  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders within the Global Facilities Organization and Local SVPs to align facility management strategies with organizational goals and employee needs
  • Implementing sustainability initiatives, integrating advanced technologies, managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing space utilization, and enhancing employee well-being through various programs
