Requirements

High school diploma/GED required
Willingness and ability to follow guidance from other staff members and management required
Basic understanding of email and office software required
A positive and professional attitude always required, and very high attention to detail is required
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and in a team environment preferred
Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including lawnmowers, forklifts, scissor lifts, and small hand tools preferred
1+ years of custodial experience preferred

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other common areas
Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas
Perform routine cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, restroom cleaning)
Cleaning of air filters for data center
Actively participate in safety policies and procedures
Promote open, respectful, and professional communication within the team with coworkers and leaders across the organization
Operate the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Participate in the inventory management of tools, parts, and equipment
Read and interpret equipment manuals, product labels, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Perform minor facility repairs and regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, grounds, and facilities. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust
Maintain building grounds (snow removal, landscaping upkeep)
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
Detect faulty operations and defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
Maintain clean and orderly work areas
Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team as well as with co-workers/teammates and leaders across the organization
Performs other duties as assigned
