High school diploma with 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools
Ability to work safely on a ladder
Working knowledge of standard office tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, basic computer knowledge)
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously
Able to work independently or with a team
Willingness and ability to work on site
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Ability to move between buildings and floors
Ability to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets
Ability to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed

Responsibilities

Performs day-to-day service and maintenance work on all serviceable HVAC and refrigeration equipment
Performs preventative maintenance of all HVAC and refrigeration, including filter changes, belt replacements, lubrication, and visual checks of internal components
Reports findings to supervisor
Orders and gathers materials for maintenance and repairs of HVAC and refrigeration equipment and machinery
Receives and responds to work requests through the internal work request system
Coordinates facilities-related vendors for HVAC and refrigeration contractors, when necessary
Assists team in moving, building, or repairing cubicles, desks, and other furniture
Identifies repairs and maintenance needs around campus and presents them to the supervisor or higher for assignment
Works independently or with a team at the direction of the lead or higher
Adheres to safe work practices
Adheres to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures
Understands relevant security, privacy, and compliance principles and adheres to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company
Ensures other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures
Performs other work-related duties as assigned
