  • High school diploma with 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools
  • Ability to work safely on a ladder
  • Working knowledge of standard office tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, basic computer knowledge)
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously
  • Able to work independently or with a team
  • Willingness and ability to work on site
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to move between buildings and floors
  • Ability to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets
  • Ability to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed

Responsibilities

  • Performs day-to-day service and maintenance work on all serviceable HVAC and refrigeration equipment
  • Performs preventative maintenance of all HVAC and refrigeration, including filter changes, belt replacements, lubrication, and visual checks of internal components
  • Reports findings to supervisor
  • Orders and gathers materials for maintenance and repairs of HVAC and refrigeration equipment and machinery
  • Receives and responds to work requests through the internal work request system
  • Coordinates facilities-related vendors for HVAC and refrigeration contractors, when necessary
  • Assists team in moving, building, or repairing cubicles, desks, and other furniture
  • Identifies repairs and maintenance needs around campus and presents them to the supervisor or higher for assignment
  • Works independently or with a team at the direction of the lead or higher
  • Adheres to safe work practices
  • Adheres to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures
  • Understands relevant security, privacy, and compliance principles and adheres to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company
  • Ensures other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned
