Requirements

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Workplace Experience or Facilities with a significant emphasis on creating and delivering improved employee experiences
  • Demonstrates budget management skills with a track record of building business cases and managing expenses effectively
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail, organizational planning, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels from a vendor to executive

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for facilities and office-related requests
  • Manage daily operations of the office including cleanliness, janitorial, safety, and security
  • Oversee maintenance schedules and respond to ad hoc repairs
  • Monitor building systems (HVAC, lighting, security, etc.) and escalate with building management when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
  • Maintain safety documentation and work with stakeholders in relation to all building safety tests, training, and inspections
  • Support emergency preparedness
  • Manage relationships with service providers, including cleaners, security, catering, and maintenance contractors
  • Handle contract renewals by reviewing performance and benchmarking costs against market rates
  • Support space planning requirements, office moves, and ad hoc projects
  • Provide event support, working with internal stakeholders to ensure a frictionless experience for event attendees
  • Support workplace initiatives and internal events
