Proven IT operations/support experience in a high-performance, time-critical environment
Strong knowledge of Windows and operating systems
Experience with computer networking (LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless)
Hands-on hardware troubleshooting skills (PCs, servers, AV equipment, peripherals)
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Calm under pressure, with the ability to deliver solutions quickly in fast-paced environments
Detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to maintenance and reliability
Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work non-standard hours, weekends, and travel internationally
Passion for motorsports and advanced simulation technology

Responsibilities

Provide first and second-line support for Driver-in-the-Loop simulator systems, including hardware, software, networking, and peripheral devices
Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot simulator PCs and AV systems
Ensure maximum system uptime and performance for engineering and driver sessions
Deliver IT support across race operations, including supporting trackside IT Operations Staff and remote workers & environments
Maintain and deploy servers, networking hardware, telemetry systems, and competition-critical software
Assist engineering staff with data acquisition, transfer, and security
Provide hands-on technical support during race events, testing sessions, and other competition-related activities
Support the setup, configuration, and monitoring of Windows based systems
Apply updates, patches, and security fixes to maintain system reliability
Work with IT Operations Manager to develop backup, recovery, and contingency plans
Partner with simulation engineers, performance engineers, and competition staff to understand operational needs and resolve IT issues efficiently
Document troubleshooting procedures, best practices, and system configurations
Contribute to continuous improvement of IT workflows and standards
