Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-line support for Driver-in-the-Loop simulator systems, including hardware, software, networking, and peripheral devices
  • Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot simulator PCs and AV systems
  • Ensure maximum system uptime and performance for engineering and driver sessions
  • Deliver IT support across race operations, including supporting trackside IT Operations Staff and remote workers & environments
  • Maintain and deploy servers, networking hardware, telemetry systems, and competition-critical software
  • Assist engineering staff with data acquisition, transfer, and security
  • Provide hands-on technical support during race events, testing sessions, and other competition-related activities
  • Support the setup, configuration, and monitoring of Windows based systems
  • Apply updates, patches, and security fixes to maintain system reliability
  • Work with IT Operations Manager to develop backup, recovery, and contingency plans
  • Partner with simulation engineers, performance engineers, and competition staff to understand operational needs and resolve IT issues efficiently
  • Document troubleshooting procedures, best practices, and system configurations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of IT workflows and standards
