Requirements

  • Fluency in English both written and spoken
  • At least 7 years of industry experience or a master’s degree in the relevant field
  • Technical competence: Swift Programming Language (including advanced topics like Protocols, Generics, and Error Handling), SwiftUI for building modern, declarative iOS user interfaces, SwiftData and/or Core Data for robust data persistence and state management, iOS Networking, Concurrency, and Application Authentication protocols, Xcode environment and the complete iOS application lifecycle
  • Graduate from a Udacity Nanodegree Program (added plus)
  • Experience teaching technical concepts and public speaking, organizing technical talks, or webinars
  • Positive character, trusted by the students, creating emotional ties in the group
  • Flexibility at their current job to take this challenge part-time as an external contractor

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for students over an online community forum
  • Answer questions around course content over the forum and facilitate content for students who get stuck in learning
  • Host one weekly live virtual session to offer direct, real-time support to students
  • Redirect learners to appropriate support channels and escalate issues to the Mentor Operations team when needed
