Requirements

  • Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures
  • Ability to identify and use monitoring and measuring equipment needed to verify requirements
  • Knowledge and use of measurement equipment for visual and dimensional inspections
  • Experience with inspection records, logs, and calibration
  • Familiarity with Baker Hughes management system databases and systems (SAP, Oracle BHOS, Agility, etc.)
  • Adherence to OFS PeoplePRIMED Competence Management Program and other quality requirements
  • Commitment to health, safety, and environment (HSE) programs, including Stop Work authority

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in HSE programs, maintain safe and clean work areas, and report unsafe acts or incidents immediately
  • Review ORA’s/HRA’s/MOC’s/Work Permits prior to starting work and exercise Stop Work for safety
  • Adhere to quality requirements, exercise Stop Work to ensure job is done right, and report quality jeopardizing acts
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and NDE inspections of parts, assemblies, and subassemblies
  • Ensure parts meet design and manufacturing requirements and initiate non-conformance reports for defects
  • Complete and maintain inspection records, logs, and calibration
  • Drive quality culture in the plant
  • Collaborate with site quality and manufacturing engineering on RCA, corrective actions, and continuous improvement
  • Participate in quality audits, material review boards, kaizens, or root cause analysis
  • Program or calibrate inspection equipment as needed
  • Identify cost-out opportunities and elevate to lead
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment, adhering to company values and on-call/shift schedules
