This position is hybrid at the federal site in Indian Head, MD, and will include interaction and support from ERG personnel at the federal site, as well as from ERG’s Fairfax and Arlington offices.
Candidates need a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field, minimum 3 years leading hazard analyses like HAZOP, What-if Analysis, FMEA, LOPA, and FTA, and 3 years in a manufacturing or production environment, plus strong knowledge of hazard analysis standards and excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate has experience performing hazard analyses, facilitating meetings with large numbers of diverse stakeholders, working in production environments, reviewing manufacturing processes, and knowledge of standards like OSHA 1910.119 and NAVSEA OP 5.
