Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience as a Software Engineer in an IDF technological unit
5+ years of professional, hands-on experience in software development
Proven experience leading the development of complex features from a technical standpoint, from design to deployment
Strong experience in backend development with C# and the .NET (or .NET Core) framework
Deep expertise with modern frontend frameworks, preferably Angular and TypeScript
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins), and containerization (Docker)
Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
A proactive and autonomous individual who can own complex problems and drive them to resolution

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end feature development using Angular and C#, collaborating with product teams and mentoring engineers
Take full ownership of our infrastructure evolution by driving modernization initiatives such as monolith upgrades, service containerization, and migration to the AWS cloud
Actively build, manage, and improve CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud infrastructure to ensure smooth and reliable deployments
Design and deliver scalable backend services and responsive user interfaces
Promote best practices in code quality, testing, and security
Translate product requirements into production-ready features
Work with relational databases and optimize queries
