Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience as a Software Engineer in an IDF technological unit
  • 5+ years of professional, hands-on experience in software development
  • Proven experience leading the development of complex features from a technical standpoint, from design to deployment
  • Strong experience in backend development with C# and the .NET (or .NET Core) framework
  • Deep expertise with modern frontend frameworks, preferably Angular and TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins), and containerization (Docker)
  • Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • A proactive and autonomous individual who can own complex problems and drive them to resolution

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end feature development using Angular and C#, collaborating with product teams and mentoring engineers
  • Take full ownership of our infrastructure evolution by driving modernization initiatives such as monolith upgrades, service containerization, and migration to the AWS cloud
  • Actively build, manage, and improve CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud infrastructure to ensure smooth and reliable deployments
  • Design and deliver scalable backend services and responsive user interfaces
  • Promote best practices in code quality, testing, and security
  • Translate product requirements into production-ready features
  • Work with relational databases and optimize queries
