As a Cloud Engineer, you will be a key member of an agile project team, contributing to the infrastructure of a system. This role involves writing code, provisioning infrastructure, performing root cause analysis, and promoting DevOps methodologies and best practices. You will have close contact with client-side executives, requiring strong English communication skills.

Requirements

  • Linux/Unix Systems Expertise: Strong ability to navigate and troubleshoot issues within Linux/Unix environments.
  • Networking & Web Applications: Understanding of how the Internet and web applications function.
  • Observability: Proficiency with metrics, logs, distributed tracing, and related observability tools.
  • Configuration Management: Experience with configuration management frameworks like Ansible.
  • Production Environment Management: Ability to maintain applications in a production environment.
  • Self-Driven & Collaborative: Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision, contributing to a team or company purpose.
  • DevOps Methodology: Comfortable with DevOps methodologies and best practices.
  • Cloud Provider (AWS): Solid experience using AWS.
  • CI/CD & Networking: Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and AWS networking/accounts.
  • Containerization: Experience with containers and orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes and Docker.
  • CI/CD Principles: Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts, independent of specific tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins).
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, or Cloudformation.
  • Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Open Telemetry, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch).
  • Helm Charts: Experience with Helm Charts.
  • Scripting Languages: Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Javascript/Typescript.
  • English Language: Very comfortable with English.
  • Production System Management: Some experience managing a production system.
  • Infrastructure Tools (Nice to Have): Experience with Open Telemetry, Grafana, Traefik, Redis Cluster, and Kafka.
