Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience as a Software Engineer in an IDF technological unit
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with hands-on production experience working in the backend side of complex systems
  • Experience with server-side technologies, specifically Python
  • Solid understanding of software design principles, data structure choices, and performance trade-offs
  • Understanding of containers (Docker) and orchestration tools
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services - advantage
  • Good knowledge of SQL and ORM frameworks - advantage
  • Familiarity with Multithreading / distributed computing
  • A curious mindset focused on learning and deeply understanding the underlying technologies, tools, and frameworks you use
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
