Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Physical Therapy, Kinesiology, or a related field, and possess professional certification or licensure in their respective field, such as ACSM or NASM. A minimum of five years of clinical practice or coaching experience in exercise physiology, physical therapy, or a related field, with a focus on metabolic health and wellness is required, along with familiarity with research and clinical practice related to metabolic conditions impacting reproductive health during the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

As an Exercise Physiologist Consultant, the individual will apply their expertise to support the design and expansion of Carrot Fertility’s wellness initiatives focused on exercise and metabolic health, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop evidence-based content and providing subject matter expertise. They will continuously review clinical and emerging research, update on clinical guidelines, advise the team on improving content and programming, and support member-facing expert chats by offering evidence-informed education and non-directive guidance on topics related to metabolic health, lifestyle interventions, and wellness.
