Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Business, or related field (or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training)
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting a Senior Director, Vice President, or C-level executive in a corporate matrix environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong writing, numerical analysis, and communication competencies
  • Proven experience engaging with high-profile stakeholders (e.g., executive team members, Nike-sponsored athletes, or external partners)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering collaboration across functions
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Comfort working with limited or undefined information
  • Experience in event planning; experience managing budgets and proposals is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and virtual collaboration platforms (Zoom, MS Teams). Experience with Keynote or AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot is a plus
  • Discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Occasional availability to work outside of standard business hours
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written); Portuguese is considered a strong differentiator
  • Previous experience at Nike will be considered an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Calendar Management: Coordinate and manage the VP/GM’s schedule, ensuring timely meetings and appointments. Anticipate potential conflicts and resolve them proactively without requiring leader intervention
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the VP/GM and various internal and external partners. Manage emails and respond professionally and promptly when the leader’s direct input is not required
  • Meetings & Events: Reserve spaces, coordinate budgets, catering, agendas, reminders, and logistics. Follow up before, during, and after the event to ensure objectives are met
  • Material Coordination: Support the preparation and organization of information and documentation for high-level meetings, both internal and external
  • Travel & Expenses: Coordinate complex national and international travel and prepare accurate and timely expense reports
  • Documentation & Presentations: Draft, review, and organize documents, reports, and presentations. Occasionally share or present this information to relevant leaders or teams
  • Project Support: Collaborate in the planning and execution of special projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information and strategic decisions with the highest level of discretion
