Requirements

  • At least 7 or more years supporting a Vice President and/or equivalent experience
  • Sharp written and verbal communication skills, including flawless grammar and a rich vocabulary
  • Desire to immerse yourself fully and learn all aspects of your executive’s business
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment while prioritizing deadlines/deliverables
  • Strong proficiency with all types of computers, phones and office equipment, as well as mastery of Microsoft tools (inferred from context)
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Professional decorum to represent and interface with senior executives
  • Experience thriving in high-pressure environments
  • Ability to confidently engage with top-tier leadership and maintain poise under pressure
  • Deep knowledge of leadership and savviness about Disney's businesses

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research, fact-check existing work, and prepare regular reports and summaries
  • Assist with regularly scheduled training for various Disney audiences, including set up and emceeing video conferences
  • Create a multi-city, sometimes global, travel itinerary, taking into account time zones, weather delays, traffic and fatigue levels
  • Interface directly with other senior executives and their support teams
  • Review leader’s schedule to build-in time for things like thinking and traveling to their next meeting
  • Understand the day’s priorities to manage planning and scheduling strategically
  • Schedule conference rooms, meetings and video chats
  • Handle emergencies by adjusting schedules flexibly
  • Handle extremely confidential, sensitive information
  • Draft letters, emails, and slide decks on behalf of leaders and proofread documents created by others
  • Assist with on-boarding new employees
  • Manage purchase orders and vendor contracts
  • Plan events and team-building activities
  • Heavy calendar management and expense reports
