Requirements

Professional experience managing index portfolios (ETFs, private funds, SMAs) within assigned parameters and tolerance levels
Ability to meet performance standards consistent with fund investment objectives while adhering to fund-specific and regulatory requirements
Knowledge of trading strategies, corporate action elections, tax mitigation strategies, and ad-hoc opportunities
Stay current on regulatory requirements to ensure portfolio compliance
Understanding of asset valuations using market information
Ability to recognize portfolio risk situations and escalate appropriately
Experience with performance attribution and minimizing sources of portfolio risk relative to benchmarks
Skills in prudent risk management through developed investment and operational processes
Familiarity with following procedures, monitoring portfolio activity and performance
Multi-asset trading experience across derivatives, equities, futures, options, T-bills, cryptocurrencies, and other digital assets

Responsibilities

Manage Bitwise’s suite of index products including ETFs, private funds, and SMAs
Ensure tight portfolio performance to benchmarks while minimizing operational risk and trading errors
Provide timely trade execution for subscriptions/redemptions, create/redeems, index rebalances, and model changes in accordance with investment objectives
Analyze performance, produce performance attribution, and handle basket files and NAV questions
Work with third-party service providers to ensure integrity of daily NAVs and basket files
Serve as primary point of contact for index data-related questions, own follow-up and issue resolution with index providers
Manage relationships to support efficiencies in daily product operations
Proactively manage trading strategies, corporate action elections, tax mitigation strategies, and/or other ad-hoc opportunities
Attribute fund performance, understand and minimize sources of portfolio risk relative to benchmarks
Trade multiple asset classes including derivatives, equities, futures, options, T-bills, cryptocurrencies, and other digital assets
