4-7 years of equivalent work experience in waste disposal, chemistry, or a related field providing technical expertise
Advanced knowledge of Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) laws and regulations related to waste characterization principles and practices, including analysis and evaluation, waste processing protocols, and transportation (DOT) regulations and industry best practices
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documentation, technical procedures, and governmental regulations to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting findings in a concise format
Advanced negotiation and problem-solving skills
Good knowledge of business math, geometry, and basic accounting processes
Knowledge of computer technology for communication, data gathering, and reporting
Proficient with Microsoft Office, DocuSign, and PDF writer
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to customer service with the ability to actively listen to customers to understand requests and resolve issues or make recommendations

Responsibilities
Support and build regular and direct rapport with customers, serving as a direct extension of the sales and customer service teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams by applying specialized knowledge and skills regarding waste treatment and disposal services
Engage proactively with clients to understand their technical requirements, deliver customized solutions, and ensure satisfaction through ongoing communication and attentive support
Meet with clients to discuss waste management solutions, analyze laboratory results and safety data sheets, and compile technical data into comprehensive reports
Investigate the application of hazardous waste regulations, aid in waste classification, collaborate with internal teams to evaluate treatment options, and comply with transportation guidelines
Work closely with the sales department to offer solutions that meet quality and regulatory standards, perform technical evaluations, facilitate communication between departments, maintain customer pricing records, and focus on customer retention and business development
Support the development of bid materials by working with sales managers
Partner with associates and managers with a high level of accuracy and the ability to detect inconsistencies in data
Provide quotes under $15k
Provide simple waste profiling support
Provide RFP support
Handle customer onboarding administration
Follow up on past due opportunities
Manage customer requests for COIs, audit packages, customer escalations, and general TSE support as needed (align with SM and CS Supervisor if outside scope)
