BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a focus in Water Resources
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of hydrology and hydraulic modeling (drainage, SWM, floodplain) with commonly used software
Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) Exam preferred
Design knowledge of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
Excellent organizational, coordination and communication skills, both written and verbal
Position starts in May 2026 upon graduation
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of engineering documents (plans, reports, cost estimates and specifications) for Advertisement and Construction
Obtain permit approvals from state and local agencies
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, project managers, supervisors, and other team members
Perform typical design tasks including stormwater management, storm drainage systems, culverts, open channels, bridge hydraulics, erosion and sediment controls, and other water resources engineering tasks
