Requirements

Associate degree or certificate in Drafting, CADD, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Familiarity with CADD platforms such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, or OpenBridge Modeler (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn technical drafting standards
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Basic understanding of surveying and civil/structural engineering concepts is a plus

Responsibilities

Develop technical drawings and construction plans using CADD software
Assist in preparing staking data and drafting design plans for roadway and bridge projects
Generate profiles, cross-sections, and contours from existing and proposed surfaces
Calculate earthwork volumes (cut and fill) to support design and construction planning
Interpret and draft from engineering plans, profiles, and detail sheets
Collaborate effectively with internal project teams and communicate professionally
Participate in occasional field assignments to support survey and data collection efforts
Represent JEO and our clients with professionalism and integrity
