Responsibilities

  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize IT and Non-IT contracts for non-merchandise goods and services
  • Represent Enterprise Procurement on project teams reporting to senior leadership for strategic initiatives, savings, policy enforcement, supplier diversity, and M&A integration
  • Draft, prepare, and review contract documents to minimize exposure and maximize benefits
  • Negotiate all key terms of contract documents for risk mitigation and enterprise value
  • Analyze contracts for compliance with laws, regulations, corporate policies, and business procedures
  • Perform special projects assigned by management with senior leadership visibility
  • Lead larger projects by managing Contract Analysts for high-visibility engagements
  • Communicate required terms and conditions to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to draft, negotiate, and document scopes of work, SLAs, financial incentives, etc
  • Interact with CVS SMEs (Legal, Sourcing, InfoSec, Risk, Privacy, Tax, Finance) to reflect policies in contracts
  • Partner with Sourcing on RFPs, provide contractual docs, answer legal questions, and flag issues for award decisions
  • Act as key contact for status and resolution of escalated contract issues and disputes
  • Mentor and guide team members
