Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering discipline (industrial, production, mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or chemical engineering)
  • Good understanding of the Industry 4.0 transformation of engineering and manufacturing
  • Good understanding of Smart Factory and Digital Engineering contexts
  • Familiarity with IoT, digital twin and data analytics for engineering and manufacturing
  • Familiarity with business value case analysis for engineering and manufacturing
  • Experience in Design Thinking and Agile approaches with ability to ensure project success on time and within budget
  • Ability to work with shop floor people at client sites
  • Strong skills in developing and presenting clear and concise solution briefings
  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills with both Thai and English required
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Expert proficiency in Manufacturing Engineering Process Modeling
  • Expert proficiency in Manufacturing Optimization (recommended)
  • Advanced proficiency in Manufacturing Operations, Business Analysis, and Business Requirements Analysis (suggested)

Responsibilities

  • Define processes to fabricate, assemble, inspect, and test new products and machines based on production engineering and design principles
  • Define the supporting tools and fixtures needed for production
  • Develop procedures, product specifications, and establish quality standards and inspection methods
  • Perform independently and become a subject matter expert
  • Actively participate and contribute in team discussions, and provide solutions to work-related problems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product development processes
  • Implement innovative solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality
  • Conduct thorough analysis to identify areas for process improvement
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all engineering processes
  • Mentor junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
