Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent technical certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical repair and customer service
  • Proven ability to work independently and solve complex problems using sound judgment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly in team settings
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and documentation creation
  • Soldering skills including surface mount rework, shield, and connector replacement
  • Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions and technical documentation

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain repair processes, documentation, and test procedures for new and existing products
  • Work from complex schematics, layouts, and diagrams to troubleshoot and repair devices
  • Evaluate new models and components, and create detailed repair documentation (assembly/disassembly, functional testing, troubleshooting)
  • Interface with OEMs to resolve component availability issues and source required materials
  • Interpret ISBs, CSBs, and FSBs to determine relevance to repair operations
  • Support Level 3 technicians with tooling, documentation, and training
  • Perform root cause failure analysis on field and process failures
  • Maintain and support automation systems, conveyors, and sortation equipment
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality
