Candidates need 3+ years of relevant work experience in electrical and mechanical part/system assembly and test. A Bachelor’s or advanced engineering degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Required skills include reading drawings, schematics, and work instructions; board-level electronic circuit soldering including mixed-signal Analog/Digital; serial data, power, and sensor cable fabrication; troubleshooting electrical issues; and using standard lab equipment like DMM, oscilloscope, signal generators, and soldering equipment.
The position is located in Fredericksburg, VA, at Boyd’s Advanced Cooling Division.
You will be a member of a multi-disciplined engineering and technician team in a fast-paced environment, tackling complex product design and manufacturing challenges for thermal solutions in enterprise and aerospace/defense industries.
Strong communication skills (oral, written, and presentation), organization, planning, time management, ability to handle multiple tasks, and strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity are essential.
