Requirements

  • 10 Years’ Experience in Development of Electronic Control (Systems Engineering, Hard- & Software Engineering), ideally in Safety Electronics respectively ADAS (Radar, Camera, Sensor platforms)
  • Profound Experience in direct contact to multiple customers (OEMs), ideally also in direct supplier & sub-supplier handling
  • Profound Knowledge in Automotive Development
  • Multiple Experience in Leading interdisciplinary project teams, ideally also of internationally spread teams
  • Knowledge about Product Development Processes (e.g. Spice), ideally founded experience in ISO26262 process & development according to this or similar FUSA standards
  • Engineering Degree in Electronics, Physics or equivalent discipline, ideally additional Knowledge in specific disciplines, e.g. High-Speed/Frequency Design, Mechanics, Tooling, Thermodynamics, Software development for Real Time application

Responsibilities

  • Technical Lead of Projects in area of Control Module Development for Autonomous Driving (ADAS)
  • Definition and Monitoring of all relevant Tasks in Systems, Hardware, Software and Integration Engineering
  • Escalation of technical Issues and Conflicting Activities to Chief Engineer
  • Technical Lead of a global Team to solve complex (cross competency) Issues which cannot be covered on project level alone
  • Representation of Aptiv as Technical Counterpart for Customer
  • Participation in Product Strategy- and Architecture-Meetings
  • Responsible to prepare and execute Design Reviews & supervise Peer Reviews owned by HW/SWPO and completeness of the Design Review workbook in compliance with PDP process
  • Responsible for the Technical Risk Register: Identify risks, project scope changes, evaluate, rate, action plans, change points and manage contingency plans
  • Approve Start/Stop/Change/Signoff of engineering activity on project/component level work packages
  • Responsible for the evaluation and management of internal and customer technical (product)
