Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field
5+ years of experience in engineering roles, with 2+ years in a leadership capacity
Experience in leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams
Proven experience in algorithm development, preferably in medical imaging or similar domains
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering growth, collaboration, and technical excellence
Provide strategic and hands-on technical guidance in the development of dose and image quality related features for X-Ray systems, including the development of AI algorithms where appropriate
Work with the team to define the roadmap for features and their implementation for various product lines
Balance competing priorities and feedback from stakeholders to drive consensus and maintain project momentum
Facilitate clear communication and decision-making across functional boundaries
Maintain a deep understanding of the full X-Ray imaging system—including tube, generator, collimator, grids, and detector—and how image quality is impacted
Drive system-level thinking to ensure that image quality features are robust, scalable, and aligned with product goals
Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
Champion engineering best practices, continuous improvement, and innovation
Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services
Stay informed of industry trends that may inform work
Use high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering
Assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders
Offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and construct and provide recommendations
Use multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision
Communicate difficult concepts and influence others' opinions on particular topics
Guide others to consider a different point of view
