Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering roles, with 2+ years in a leadership capacity
  • Experience in leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams
  • Proven experience in algorithm development, preferably in medical imaging or similar domains
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering growth, collaboration, and technical excellence
  • Provide strategic and hands-on technical guidance in the development of dose and image quality related features for X-Ray systems, including the development of AI algorithms where appropriate
  • Work with the team to define the roadmap for features and their implementation for various product lines
  • Balance competing priorities and feedback from stakeholders to drive consensus and maintain project momentum
  • Facilitate clear communication and decision-making across functional boundaries
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the full X-Ray imaging system—including tube, generator, collimator, grids, and detector—and how image quality is impacted
  • Drive system-level thinking to ensure that image quality features are robust, scalable, and aligned with product goals
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
  • Champion engineering best practices, continuous improvement, and innovation
  • Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services
  • Stay informed of industry trends that may inform work
  • Use high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering
  • Assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders
  • Offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and construct and provide recommendations
  • Use multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision
  • Communicate difficult concepts and influence others' opinions on particular topics
  • Guide others to consider a different point of view
