Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or have equivalent work experience, with at least 5 years in software engineering and 2 years of management experience. Strong technical proficiency in at least one programming language, experience with Agile methodologies, and excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are essential. A passion for building high-quality software and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are also required.

Responsibilities

The Engineering Manager will lead and technically guide a team of engineers in developing and extending the payments platform infrastructure, ensuring safe, secure, and consistent financial transactions. Responsibilities include collaborating with payment processing partners on new workflows and consumer payment options, working with UX, Design, and Experimentation teams to build a seamless front-end web experience, defining and executing the product roadmap, mentoring team members through regular 1:1s and coaching, and participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
