Requirements

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
7+ years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP; AWS preferred)
3+ years in a managerial capacity
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Pulumi, etc
Mastery of CI/CD tools like Github Actions, ArgoCD, etc
Deep understanding of network architectures, software engineering, web technologies, SQL/NoSQL databases, and distributed systems
Proficiency in Go, Python, or Ruby, as well as bash, etc
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus
Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
Nice to have: Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
Nice to have: SOC2 and/or ISO27001 compliance and audit experience
Nice to have: Experience working with security engineering and vulnerability management
Nice to have: Experience negotiating and managing relationships with cloud service providers and tooling vendors

Responsibilities

Lead the infrastructure team to architect cloud-based solutions that meet business needs, including working with application teams to design and deploy services in the cloud
Manage and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure, including optimizing cluster resource usage, cluster monitoring, and troubleshooting Kubernetes issues
Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform, including provisioning and managing AWS resources, automating AWS infrastructure changes, and monitoring AWS infrastructure performance
Coordinate infrastructure incident and outage response, including identifying and resolving incidents, communicating with customers and stakeholders during incidents, and effective post-mortem management
Be a team player and contribute to a positive work environment, working cross-functionally to take on new challenges and leave things better than found
